Zerberts

Tristan keeps talking more and more each day. Dad enjoys coming home to his son.

First Date

Soon after our return from Goshen, Tristan had his first date with Hazel Pinnow. They were really hitting it off!

Goshen

We took a quick trip to Goshen, IN this past weekend (8/17-8/19).

The main attraction was Cousin Amy's wedding, but we also got to see family from three out of four sides of Tristan's family. Below is a 4-generation photo. Irvin's first born's first born's first born.

There were too many photos taken to post them all here. Look at the TWO new slideshows to the right. One of them shows Uncle Jonathan's handiwork with a formal photo shoot. Isn't he handsome?

Giggles with Karen

Right before our trip to Goshen, Aunt Karen came to visit. These were the sounds that we had been hearing for several weeks, but this was the first they were caught on video.

Dedication

On Sunday, October 5th, Tristan Ray Trotter Nussbaum was dedicated at Park View Mennonite Church. We were blessed to have Grandma & Grandpa Trotter, Auntie Lynette, and Uncle Jon T. in attendance, as well as many other family present in spirit.

A full 12 minute video is below for those who are truly fans of this blog.

Family photo of the big day.

The blankets from the Grandmas and some church members (Mary Glick--Laura's mom, and Julia White) were our symbols of Tristan's extended supportive family along with his dedication cup, given to us by the pastoral staff.

Tristan and Elisabeth (Parents: Peter & Bethany Versluis Fairfield) are two of the seven dedications at PVMC in the past several months--and there are two more on the way over the next few months. A baby boom! (One of our church members came up to Trina the other Sunday and said, "You all are taking church growth SERIOUSLY!" :-)

MCC Relief Sale

The weekend of Oct. 3-5 brought G&G Trotter down from Ohio for the MCC Relief Sale and Tristan's dedication.

The highlight of the weekend were Tristan's Pumpkin & Caramel Corn hats (handmade by Grandma T).

Vitals

Tristan had his 2mo. check-up today.

Height: 24 inches (75th percentile)
Weight: 12 lbs 3.8 oz (75th percentile)
Head Circ: (50th percentile--I forget the measurement)

The Dr. couldn't even feel a bump on his previously broken collarbone.

All is healthy and looking good.
